Maesyfed is a place where Carers or the people they look after, or both, can come and stay. In staying at Maesyfed we can offer a range of support to meet your specific needs and we would hope to tailor your experience specifically to your needs. Maesyfed however is not a specialist resource for Carers or users of services. Maesyfed is open to all. It is a home from home with a very special atmosphere that is part of the heritage of Mid-Wales with it's Shop-Museum attached to the house. Situated in beautiful countryside on the banks of the River Ithon it provides a place of sanctuary and retreat. Many people who come to Maesyfed do so to pursue a specialist interest.

If you have special support needs we would like to hear about these before you come so that we can provide the time and resources to assist you. Liz and Derek each have over thirty years experience in the caring professions and we would hope to be able to cater for your specific needs.

i. Costs are based on: Single Person Bed, Breakfast and Evening meal: £45 per night. Two people sharing room Bed, Breakfast and an Evening meal x 2: £73 per night. Additional adults sharing single or double Bed, Breakfast and Evening meal: £32.50.

1. Accommodation Costs

Costs are based on: the same prices for Bed breakfast and evening meal with
the exception that any single person occupancy for Bed and Breakfast is at
£32.50 in any of the rooms.

2. Care Costs

Most people come and there are no additional care costs. However, if
dedicated time, support, and activities need to be organised or supplied
these will to be negotiated before your visit.
